The Acolyte 8-speed cassette gives you all the range you need to challenge yourself.  Whether you’re climbing the Cascades or the neighborhood sledding hill, all you have to think about is where to put the bike – Acolyte will take care of the rest.  And yes, it works with a standard HG freehub body and a normal 8-speed chain.

When it comes to adventurous riding, a wider gear range is often better. With 9 speed and a 11-42T range, the ADVENT cassette has the low gears you need to get up and the high gears to get back down.
