Welcome to Trail Tuesdays: Shredders Build Season, where little hands make a big impact on the trails we love! Every Tuesday, our dedicated group of young riders gathers to roll up our sleeves, grab some tools, and give back to the trails that bring us so much joy.
About Build Season:
Shredders isn't just about riding; it's about stewardship and building a connection with the great outdoors. We believe in fostering a sense of responsibility for the trails we enjoy, ensuring they remain vibrant, sustainable, and accessible for future generations.
Trail Tuesday Tidbits:
Join us every Tuesday for a hands-on experience in trail maintenance. Under the guidance of experienced trail stewards, our young crew will learn the ins and outs of trail care, from clearing overgrowth to repairing erosion-prone areas. Trail Tuesdays is not only an opportunity to give back but also a chance to develop skills that will deepen your connection with the trail.
What to Expect:
- Trail Stewardship: Learn the importance of preserving our trails and how to contribute to their well-being through hands-on maintenance activities.
- Teamwork: Work together with fellow Shredders to accomplish trail maintenance tasks, fostering a sense of teamwork and shared responsibility.
- Environmental Education: Gain insights into the local ecosystem and the impact trail maintenance has on preserving the natural beauty of our riding areas.
How to Join:
Joining Trail Tuesdays is simple! Bring your enthusiasm, a willingness to get your hands dirty, some tools, and meet us every Tuesday (Locations posted on Facebook). Parents are asked to please accompany your child for the duration of the event.
So, gear up with gloves, tools, bring your can-do spirit, and let's give our trails the love they deserve!
