Arrowsmith Bikes has been servicing suspension for 27 years. With our upgraded tooling and experience we can assure you that we offer the highest quality suspension repair on Vancouver Island. All shocks are vacuum bled with our Andreani SP5 bleeder and all IFPs are charged with Nitrogen when applicable.

E-Bike Notice

We are trained and equipped to service Bosch, Shimano, Yamaha, Tq and Hyena. 

Unfortunately we are not able to service e-bikes from other brands, even if the repair does not directly involve the e-assist system


KIDS BIKE TUNE UP

Recommend every 50 hours for your little shredders. Keeping your kids bike adjusted can be the difference between a smile and a meltdown. This tune provides a bike cleaning with adjustments tailored to smaller riders where possible. We ensure brakes are easy to reach, shifting is as easy as possible, adjust handlebar position and secure all bolts.

BASIC TUNE UP

This is a great service for any bike to diagnose any strange noises or just
tune it up. Recommended every 50
hours or when your bike is letting you know. Your bike will be cleaned, adjusted, safety checked and test ridden by our technicians. Customize this tune up with discounted service “add ons” to give your bike just what it needs.

ANNUAL TUNE 


$350+

A complete spa day for your bike,
make it feel just like new again! This 
is a complete rebuild of your bike to 
restore a top notch ride quality. Recommended annually or every 
100 hours plus of riding. This tune up leaves no areas of the bike untouched.


-The Annual Tune up is a complete tear down and rebuild of your bike. 

-Complete disassembly and cleaning of bicycle and components.

-Complete drivetrain clean or replacement. 

-Rear suspension linkage disassembly and cleaning.

-Fork removed from bike, headset cleaned and serviced.

-Suspension fork maintenance. 

-Rear shock maintenance. 

-Brake system fluid flush.

-Wheel bearing / hub inspection and cleaning. (may require additional labor) 

-New shift cable and housing including installation.

-Bike reassembled, Suspension set to ride weight and test ridden.

ADD $100 FOR COMPLETE LINKAGE BEARING INSTALLATION (Parts additional)

MINOR FORK SERVICE

  • This service is recommended for any fork with 50 hours or 1 seasons of riding.
  • Fork is initially tested to identify and issues.
  • Cleaned before any service is performed
  • Original damper and air settings are recorded
  • Fork is disassembled and all internal components are inspected
  • Damper is tested separately prior full to reassembly to ensure damping range and performance. Lower castings are cleaned and new dust and oil seals are installed
  • Once the fork has been reassembled it is tested again to ensure proper function
  • Setting are returned to original or baseline
  • *Parts, seals, and oil not included in price

MAJOR FORK SERVICE


$120


  • This overhaul is recommended for any fork with over 200 hours or 2 seasons or riding.
  • Fork is initially tested to identify and issues.
  • Cleaned before any service is performed
  • Original damper and air settings are recorded
  • Fork is disassembled and all internal components are inspected
  • All seals and seal head (Updated seal heads where applicable) are replaced, fork dampers filled using premium Maxima & Fox oils
  • Damper is tested separately prior full to reassembly to ensure damping range and performance. Lower castings are cleaned and new dust and oil seals are installed
  • If applicable damper is rebuilt and vacuum bled with the Andreani SP5
  • Once the fork has been reassembled it is tested again to ensure proper function
  • Setting are returned to original or baseline
  • *Parts, seals, and oil not included in price

MINOR SHOCK SERVICE

  • This service is recommended for any shock with over 50 hours of riding or 1 season
  • Shock is tested initially to identify any issues
  • Cleaned before any service is performed
  • Original damper and air settings are recorded
  • Air can is removed and internal components are inspected
  • Damper is tested separately prior to full reassembly to ensure damping range and performance. Air cans are cleaned and new seals are installed
  • Settings are returned to original or baseline settings
  • *Parts, seals and oil not include

MAJOR SHOCK SERVICE 

$120


  • This overhaul is recommended for any shock that is over 200 hours or 2 seasons of riding.
  • Shock is tested initially to identify any issues
  • Cleaned before any service is performed
  • Original damper and air settings are recorded
  • Shock is disassembled and all internal components are inspected
  • All seals and seal head (updated seal heads where applicable) are replaced, shock dampers are filled using Andreani SP5 Vacuum Bleeder filled with premium Maxima & Fox Oil
  • Damper is tested separately prior to full reassembly to ensure damping range and performance. Air cans are cleaned and new seals are installed
  • Once the shock has been reassembled, it is filled with Nitrogen for consistent performance then tested to ensure proper function
  • Settings are returned to original or baseline settings
  • *Parts, seals, and oil not include
